Our Story
The origins of NuHome Décor go back to 1982 when its parent company Sumangal was established. Sumangal is the vision of Shri Banwarilal Goenka – a vision that has helped the company grow from milestone to milestone.
What began as a solitary plant in Tarapur, near Mumbai, has evolved into a multi-locational beehive of activity, where over 300 people channel their energy into making the company’s brands into household names. Today, Sumangal is a respected and credible name in the fabric manufacturing industry, and its brands are legacies curated by experience and expertise.

Our machinery

It includes Dornier machines from Germany; Staubli Jacquards machines from France; while our multi-head embroidery machines are also world-class. Between them, our machinery is capable of handling everything from silk to 1000 gsm fabrics.
